Admission and Entry Requirements

The admission requirements are a Bachelor’s Degree or recognized equivalent from an accredited institution and adequate undergraduate training.

Non-UE students living abroad must apply through the Italian diplomatic offices (Embassy or Consulate) in their Country. Two calls for preliminary online evaluation of non-eu students are provided each year. For incoming Erasmus students this Course follows the general rules of the Official Exchange Programme. For more information, please contact the International Programs Office or the Head of International Programs, Prof. Maria Sole Brioschi.

Admission decisions are based on the curriculum of the candidate and possibly an interview. Candidates for the course must have a B2 level in English (this requirement is not necessary for candidates of English mother tongue). For non-Italian candidates, the general rules of the University apply, which require a B2 level in English.

According to the admission requirements of the program, access will normally be granted to those who have acquired at least 30 ECTS in basic courses (Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics and Statistics) and 30 ECTS in the specific courses in the field of Industrial Engineering, of which at least 18 ECTS in the disciplinary fields of Management Engineering or equivalent. The program also makes available to the interested students a form for self-assessment of the entry requirements (requires the indication of SSD - Settori Scienfici Disciplinari of the Italian system and the number of ECTS for each exam, that can usually be found on the exams transcript). The outcome of the self-assessment is only indicative and non-binding with respect to the final admission decision.

For the candidates who do not exceed the 80/110 grade in their bachelor, an orientation interview with the entry commission is compulsory.
 
Graduates who do not have all the required curricular requirements may enroll in single courses at the University of Bergamo (for more information see the relevant page in the Student Guide) or at other universities, so as to have the necessary requirements in time for regular enrollment in the Master's Degree.
